Kalindria walked through the dark, misty night, her steps not unnoticed by the Palace servants as she approached Faust’s small dwelling in the courtyard. She had noticed he’d taken to residing here since the attack on his life at the ball, something she would not soon forget, and was certain, that neither would he.
There was a burning desire in her mind, to ask several questions about an alternate personality that seemed to want to be known, residing within her love, and she met to find out what, or who it was, as she definitely didn’t like the being, however it might be.
Kalindria raised a hand and lightly rapped onto the door now, and then waited to be let in.

The door creaked open, as if openin by itself. Faust was sitting at his desk, pouring over books and texts, trying to translate them, wanting to know what they held.
The house was more or less a small room. A bed resided in the corner, a desk on the far wall and a bookshelf beside the desk. A few small rooms were behind closed doors, nothing more important than closets and the like.
Faust turned and smiled as he saw Kalindria standing there. He got up and travelled to her swiftly, wrapping his arms around her and planting a kiss quickly on her lips.
"Hello my love. What did I do to deserve a visit from such a beautiful woman."

Kalindria took in the site of the room, and then was met with open arms, and a soft kiss to her lips form Faust, before she was even through the door. She returned his kiss and smiled, stepping the remainder of the way into the room before answering his question.
“I came to see how you were doing, I had hoped to see you resting, but it seems, that you’ve been studying, instead, though I must admit, at least you’re sitting quietly, and not running about trying to rule the world.” SHE returned, placing an ivory hand on his cheek.

"I do that during the afternoon." He joked. He felt her hand on his cheek and smiled.
"And I am doing fine, I've been going to the bathhouse every morning for treatment for my scar." He shrugged. "It's helping a little, but it still reopens a bit. I'm still shaken from it, but I should be okay in a while."
Under his clothes Faust still wore bandages around his chest and stomach. Often he would fall asleep and wake up finding blood starting to seep through his wrappings.

“Still opening up is it? Well, I’m told that humans take a very long time to heal, maybe you’ll heal faster still though.” She replied with a wink and then stepped over tot eh table, her eyes landing on the books he had been studying, her emerald eyes reading through what might have been alien to some, as if it were second nature to her and she stopped, turned her eyes on him and tilted her head, in a questioning manner.
“Is there anything you perhaps aren’t telling me Faust.” She stated, more than asked, her words coming out before she had time to stop them. SHE hadn’t exactly planned on coming right out and confronting this desire to know, so directly, but, the question had been asked, the door lay cracked open now, all he need do, is put his foot in and open it further.

Faust paused, not sure if she was calling him a human or not. He decided to ignore it and spoke. "Not telling you anything?" He questioned. "No, I don't think I'm keeping anything from you in paticular." He said honestly. "But if there is something that you want to know you can ask me."
He only held back information of the most unbeleivable privacy from people. Things like military plans, gaurd shifts, the kingdom's economy and wealth, things of that manner. He kept very few personal thing private from his friends, maybe the public, but not his friends, never the ones he loved.

She shook her head and then smiled. “It was noting, just checking is all…” She started, but she had brought it up and she knew he wouldn’t lie to her and so, she continued.. “The night it happened, the night of the ball, when you almost died, something odd happened…” She said, her eyes moving form his books to him and then back to his books again. “something appeared, something, or someone, that wasn’t you…” She said, her voice quiet, as if not really wanting to say all this to him, but knowing she needed to. “Would you have any idea?” She asked, not yet describing the what ever it was that threatened her, though not scaring her in the least, threatened her all the same.

Faust thought. "No... that night, after the attempt on my life is really hazy. There are a few blank spots, though I do remember you putting something to my mouth, and then you and I was very tired."
He paused. "I'm not sure what this thing would be..." He paused again, his mind drawing a blank. "I'm sorry, nothing." He told her.
"Maybe theres something you can do to help."

“Hmm…” She mused, her hands now clasping behind her back as she began to pace back and forth in his little study, an action that made her look the animalistic being she was, as she contemplated thoughts that threw themselves into her mind, and then floated away into what she considered her own personal file cabinet.
Her head jerked up as he spoke. “What do you mean, perhaps I can help, with finding out what it was that seemed to possess you that night?” She asked, her feet turning to allow her body to once gain face towards him her emerald eyes sweeping over his entire body until they came to rest on his.

"Well, you must have been the only one around me when it happened." He said quietly. "If anybody else saw it there would be rumors all across the kingdom right now."
He shrugged. "Maybe I'm wrong but it could have reacted to you." He sighed and sat down on the bed and rubbed his temples. "It's hard to find something out when you can't remember what happened."

Kalindria walked over to the bed and knelt beside him, laying a hand on his knee. “I know, and I don’t want you to stress over it, you’ve already been through so much…” She let her words trail off, mentally kicking herself for even bringing it up, this could have waited, she thought but then realized that no, it couldn’t have, they needed to know, what if this, whatever it had been, chose to wake again and they were not prepared, say at a open function something of that sort.
“Ok, you had all but basically, died, your heart was in the flutter of the dying and I couldn’t let you go, I was going to change you, and that’s when it came, it said something about not interfering and, well I can’t think of its exact words, I was angry at, what ever it was, though, in the end, it healed you, or at least, if didn’t let you die.” She told him everything she could remember.

Faust nodded. "Alright..." He said, thinking out loud. "So it could be two things, something speaking through me or something living inside me..." He paused and horror stuck him, what if this thing had hurt Kalindria?
He looked at her, feeling as if he would change right now and the entity would take over. He felt a tug at his insides, guilt. "Kalindria," He whispered. "please, if I'm dangerous maybe you shouldn't be here..."

Kalindria looked into his eyes and smiled, she took his chin in her hand, softly and then kissed him on the lips, allowing her lips to linger just over his for a moment before sitting back up straight again.
“I am not afraid of what ever it is that had possessed you, it sounded threatening, yes, but I was not afraid, when it appeared, no, as a matter of fact, angry would have been more conclusive, tired and angry. I am not a frail human creature my love, and besides, you’d be delighted to know that I have taken care of myself for a great many years already.” She winked at him. “No, I will not let this thing tear me away from you, there isn’t a million suns in the sky that could tear me away.” She finished, her emerald eyes watching him closely.

"Thats sweet." He whispered, bringing her close. "And nothing can keep me away from you, my love."
He stayed there for a few moments, embracing her, his mind racing to find an answer to their problem. He began to think of a way, tracing everything over in his head, running senarios.
"I think a complex spell may bring this thing forward." He told her quietly. "But if you agree, please promise me that if it attacks you that you will protect yourself, no matter what."

Kalindria looked at him after he had spoken, her eyes not showing much of anything other than quick thought, as she would not even consider harming his body, even if it was attacking her, she would find another way around it, though to Faust, she nodded her head. “I will, not let myself die.” She responded. “Though, are you certain you are up to this?” She asked then, her tone questioning. “I mean, we could wait, if you think it’s too much for you just now…” She trailed off, hopeful that he might consider her words, as she was very worried about him, suddenly.
