"Yes, well, we could always do it another time." He nodded, he was definitely physically prepared for such a spell. He knew that it would take extreme amount of physical and mental strength to do such a spell, a spell that would bring whatever was controlling him that day forth.

Kalindria was a little disappointed but at the same time relived he had chosen to do something of that nature, at a later time. She wanted to confront what ever it had been that had told her, of all beings, to back off. Even thinking of it just now, irritated her slightly, though it only showed for a split second in her eyes before she smiled warningly up at him from her kneeling position and tilted her head.
“You do look better tonight.” She said softly.

"Thank you." He said just as quietly. "It hasn't opened up very often today."
He pulled off his jacket and his shirt. His upper body was almost completely covered in bandages. Some blood had soaked through them, though it was obvious that it had happened a while ago.
"It still really hurts." He said. "It hurts to breath and to stand upright sometimes." He sighed. "And I can't let my people know what happened so I have to put on a good face and not wince when it does hurt."

Kalindria looked him over, and not until she was quite satisfied that the bandages were all in place and there was no sign of new blood, did she kiss his cheek and smile at him.
“I must admit, that sounds awfully dreadful, though, I am certain a being such as yourself, will be better in no time flat.” She said to him with an encouraging tone and then looked sternly at him. “You know, you should be resting.” She all but told him, that note of command in her tone, one usually hears from loved ones when they are worried about the other.
Kalindria then placed a hand on his cheek and her lips on his again. “You know, the sooner you get well, the sooner we could…” She left it hanging and kissed him again, though this time, it wasn’t just a short peck on the lips, but a long lingering kiss that even sent shivers down her own spine. Then, she moved her head back and lifted her index finger and slid it down the bridge of his nose and let it fall from the tip and smiled.

"Aw, now thats just cruel." He whispered in her ear, kissing her back. He loved her so much, and the thought of being without her for so long was near torture.
"You know how much I love it when we do." He whispered. "And I know you love it too."
He ran a hand down her cheek, moving it down her neck and then letting it move up and down her back. He shut his eyes gently and kissed Kalindria again, this time having shivers run down his spine.

“Mmmmm…” She growled in his kiss but then backed out and shivered slightly. “I know, quite unfair, but, maybe it will convince you to hurry and heal.” She replied now settling her self down to rest on the floor at his feet, and laying her head in his lap as he remained sitting on the bed. “I do love you so much Faust, and…” She trailed off fro a moment. “I am sorry I wasn’t able to get him before he got your…” She said quietly.
Every sense that night, she had gone over it in her mind as to why she hadn’t seen him, felt that he was about to do something, she should have been able to detect it, known it was coming before it had, but she somehow, missed it she some how, thought it her fault, though knew, it truly wasn’t, but all the same, she knew, there had been nothing she could do. IT was perhaps, the first time in her entire eternity, that she had felt… helpless.

Faust brought her up to sit beside him. "Don't sit on the ground as if you are beneath me, sit beside me." He leaned over hand kissed her on the cheek.
"And Kalindria, it's okay, its not your fault, it was nobody's fault." He wrapped his arms around her, comfortingly. "Don't feel at all guilty, I am fine. It wasn't your fault, it's in the past."
He knew exactly how she was feeling. For someone of such power it would prove difficult to cope with feeling helpless. All he could do is comfort her and reassure her that it wasn't her fault.

Kalindria snuggled into him, nuzzling her head in his shoulder as he put his arms about her, and then, though careful not to hurt him, she managed to slip her arms about his waist and then, she closed her eyes.
“I know it isn’t my fault, directly, but…” She trailed off again and then sighed. “Never before had I felt such helplessness, I mean, it happened so fast, what if…” She took a deep breath. “But like you said, it is in the past, or, it is working on being in the past at any rate, and who am I to be complaining, I’m not the one with a hole in the chest.” She finished, as if scolding herself for acting so, what she would consider, selfish.

"Shhhhhh." Faust crooned to her. "Don't say that." He stroked her hair, missing the feeling.
He kissed the top of her head. He was glad she had not hugged him around the chest, but around the stomach, because the wound was still very, very sore."
His bones ached so much, the long hours in bed, the constant check-ups were horrible for his muscles and joints. His whole body was stiff, everything hurt. But he shunted the uncomfortable feelings, letting himself snuggle close to his lover.

She sighed almost sleepily, but it was perhaps more content. Then, she sat up, loosing herself form his arms and then crawled around behind him on the bed and, sitting on her knees, began to message his shoulders.
“I bet, that what you really need, is a good long walk about the gardens.” She whispered in his ear, her hands still moving over his shoulders and then down his arms and back again, as her face leaned in her lips next to his ear as she spoke.

Faust nodded slowly, gently shutting his eyes. Her hands were moving about his back and shoulders, washing discomfort from his aching muscles. He groaned slightly as her fingers hit the perfect spot and it sent a chill up through him.
"Thank you." He mumbled. "That feels so good, my love." Faust's head tilted forward, his chin on his chest as he felt as if he was going to fall asleep right there.

Kalindria continued to meassage his upper body, once again, being careful of his wound, of course but she was certain not to leave out his neck and top of his shoulders as well, and every now and then, place a small kiss, her eor there, letting him know she loved him as she continued.
She felt him relax, finally, perhaps for the first time since she had arrived that night, and this brought a smile to her worried lips and she too, began to relax, quite enjoying, running her hands over his body, his arms, his neck, anywhere she could reach form her position. When he would give a particular moan, she would linger in that area for a bit.
“You know, I also thik, that maybe, you could use a rest.” She stated quietly, a suggestion, as her hands continued.

"Yes, a rest." He repeated dreamily. He gently laid down on his bed and pushed his face into the pillow, feeling so very relaxed.
"But... I need to do paperwork for..." He began to protest, but was promptly cut short as another moan of happiness left his lips.
He loved Kalindria so much, he would never leave her. She was so sweet and considerate, always wanting to make him happy, as much as Faust wanted to make her happy. She was an amazing woman in his opinion, perfect to him.

Kalindria knew he still had things he wanted to finish, but they could wait till morning, he needed rest, rather he wante dto admit it or not and so, after ruinning her hands about his now sleeping form a few more times, each time, her touch becoming lighter, until her hands were no longer making contact, she laid down next to him and after carefully placing her hand adross his lower back, she too fell to sleep, after being certain that the curtains were drawn, but htat, was not a problem, they already were.
