Faust smiled broadly. "Wonderful." He stood up and sipped his wine again. "It does me great pleasure to see that you are excited about going. I had to invite you as you are royalty, but even if you were not I would have invited you anyway." He smiled mischievously.
"I am also happy to get the formalities out of the way, I do so hate them." He smiled and laughed slightly. "Now an actual conversation can happen, not a fake, forced one."
"The ball will be held in one month's time." He continued, now less formal than before. "I would like to suggest you maybe wear something that accents your legs and maybe something low cut too in the chest. If you don't mind my saying, you should show off your nice legs as much as possible." He smiled again, holding back a chuckle, she was indeed very beautiful and he would enjoy spending time with her from now on.
"And I must also ask." He added both politely and flirtatiously. "If it would be possible to have the honor of having the first dance of the ball with such a beautiful woman?"

Kalista listened to his first statements and smiled to herself. Oh, he was good, very good, taking the time to study his prey before opening up a line of conversation he knew they would most prefer to any other. Indeed, she was beginning to enjoy his presence, his company all the more he stayed in her home.
“I see.” She stated, not letting her smile show outwardly after his first comments, however, he co9ntinued, and she listened, closely.
If seeing a vampire, no, the vampire queen blush, was what he was working towards, he nearly accomplished his task, nearly, though of course, she would not allow that to happen, not this early in the game, at least.
“You think?” She asked innocently enough as she too stood, her smile turning to one of a great flirtatious manner. “My legs..” She mused, lifting her skirt slightly and looking down at them, just enough to expose the silken flesh up to, just above her knee; he would have to wait to see any more.
“I will be certain to take in consideration your request when choosing the gown.” She said as she let her dress fall back into position.
Kalindria then took a few steps towards him, her eyes locked on his in a VERY flirtatious manner. “I think I would quite enjoy helping you open your ball, with the first dance.” She answered.

"Not as much as I would enjoy it." He told her, smiling. "You never know, we could share more dances than just the opening." He sat down on a chair and set his hand gently down on the one next to him.
"Care to sit down?" He asked before continuing the topic. "And I am glad you'll take my request into consideration, I am honored."
His eyes were locked with her's. "What wonderful greeen eyes" He thought to himself. They were almost hypnotic to him, he being sure that if he possessed lesser will than he did that he would be under some sort of spell.

Kalista smiled again, a genuine action to his sudden change of manner and she took, the offered seat, in her own home as if he was truly the host, and she the guest, really, it was quite amusing, if one would have looked at it through different eyes.
“I would be more then delighted to enjoy an evening of dance with you, it sounds absolutely, enchanting.” She replied in all truth.
Kalindria found that her inability to keep her eyes off him, a pleasure. She was suddenly, no longer the Queen of the vampires but a woman, something she had not let herself be, in a very long time. She sat, one leg gracefully crossed over the next on the seat closest to him now, their gazes still locked on one another and she was, to be certain, becoming lost in herself, something that had never before happened in her entire existence, then, she realized how lost she had become and had to pull herself back up slightly, and tore her eyes away from him and looked now down at her hands, suddenly very nervous.
“So, what is it you enjoy doing, other than enchanting women and dancing?” She asked, to break the uncomfortable silence that seemed to have crept into the room, covering her with the nervousness that was slightly wonderful, mixed with alarm.

Faust chuckled this time. "I practice my magic and swordplay, going about town, meeting new people, things like that." He informed her.
"And usually its the woman who first enchants me." He replied, happily. He was now very pleased that he had decided to come see the vampire queen awaken. It was only about two hours ago when a vampire had swooped into his castle and told him that their queen had been waking up after a long sleep.
"And you, what do you enjoy doing besides charming men with your beauty?" He asked.

Kalindria smiled again as she listened to his voice; she found she liked his voice.
“Well, my usual likes would actually be, dancing, singing, and late night swims in the lakes under a peaceful moon. Collecting trinkets is perhaps one of the most favorable of things though. Not just any trinkets though, I find that I have an obsession with hard to obtain items, the harder they are to obtain, the greater my want of the item, its kind of a game for me, I suppose.” She admitted. “Though I do suppose that’s why I run into so many of those wealth hungry people, we spoke of earlier.” She smiled at him, looking up with her eyes, her blonde locks draped slightly over her face as she peered at him with those emerald orbs. “Don’t get me wrong, its not that I am a very material person, I just think its more of the game than the actually trinkets themselves that attract me.” She finished, her eyes turning to look about her sitting room, remembering how she obtained each and every piece of furnishing and decorative item laying about. Every one of them achieved in a political or social gain.
Kalindria then turned her attention fully back on him again. “You know, I do believe I should need thank the vampire who informed you as to my awakening.” She said then, seemingly out of the blue, though not wholly unexpected, she was obviously enjoying herself.

"Really now?" He replied curiously. "I didn't think my company would be so enjoyed by you." He smirked at her sarcasticly. He knew she enjoyed his company, he however probably enjoyed it more. He hadn't had time for people, or in this case vampires, in a long while.
He swirled the wine in his glass and finished what he had left. He poured himself some more, it was really the best wine he had ever had, except perhaps that one really ancient bottle he had at his corination cerimony. He looked back into her emerald eyes with his own blue, grey ones happily. He pushed some of his long waist length white hair behind his ear and he felt the corners of his lips turn into yet another smile.

As he refilled his own glass, she held her hand out her own flying to her grasp and she held it over to him. “Good idea.” She said with a smirk. “Can’t let the bottle go to waste now can we?” She inquired, though it was more of a statement than a question.
She looked around again before reacting to his remark as to her thanking the one who had alerted him to her awakening and then laughed slightly. “And yes, really, I should.” She said then, a perfectly sober remark, truthful and direct. “I must admit, I can’t think of another time I have had such a pleasant conversation with, well, anyone, to be truthful.” She finished, her eyes settling once again upon his.

"Well, thats interesting." He replied. "And I'm not even a vampire." He glanced at her for a few moments, his eyes going over her more than once. "I've got to say I haven't had this good of a conversation in a long while."
He looked up at the ceiling, then around the room before taking another drink for his glass. Then he went on to a different topic, for reasons he didn't even know himself. "You know, I find it confusing why you haven't found a decent lover as of yet. When one is as smart, beautiful, and over all desirable as yourself its hard to believe."

She raised her glass to her lips and drank deeply this time from its contents before settling the fragile container on the stand beside her.
“What does being a vampire have to do with a single thing?” She started. “You don’t honestly think me so shallow that I would not enjoy the company of another, not of my own blood.” She went on, her eyes narrowing slightly, though in a more curious manner than any other. “I tend to distance myself from most the vampires, few actually ever get close enough to me to understand who I am, for I am different than any of them, and they know it, besides, for the most part they fear me, for who and what I am, and the conversations usually are subdued, lacking something that I have with you, perhaps an openness to be ones self?” She finished with that line of thought.
She was quiet for a bit again, taking up her wine and twirling it in her hand as she thought how she would answer his last question and as she thought, her eyes wondered about the room they sat in until they once again, landed on him, moving from his feet on up, slowly until her gaze caught his again.
“I suppose, Faust, that takes us clearly back to our earlier discussion about the perfect fairytale ending.” She replied in all honesty, her eyes seemingly far away, though at the same time, lost in his.

She knew more than most. "I'm sorry, I just assumed you'd be more talkative with your own kind. My apologies."
He smiled at her and took her hand in his. "A fairytale ending isn't very realistic though, every relationship need hard work." He gripped her hand harder and smiled.
He looked into her eyes and even he didn't know why, maybe it was the wine, maybe it was her beauty, but Faust leaned in and set his soft, supple lips to Kalindria. He began kissing her gently, one hand placing it along her cheek. It was strange, he had no clue if Adriana would appreciate this and yet he continued kissing her, not waiting for any response.

Kalindria was feeling the butterflies moving about in her midsection as he spoke, as he seemed to lean closer all the time and then, his hand took hers up in his own, his words spun in her mind, the truth of them, but she knew a relationship took work, that was something she knew all too well, and then, suddenly, all thought drained away as she felt his lips pressing against hers, her breath caught momentarily in her chest, the butterflies spun harder than ever and she felt her entire body ignite with little electric prickles before it actually registered that he had kissed her.
He got his response though and a very soft almost uncharacteristic of her nature, caring response as her free hand slid up the opposite side of his cheek his was on hers and she pressed slightly into his kiss, the hand held in his tightening its grasp inside his, as if she didn’t want him to let go.

His tongue poked through his slightly parted lips and danced about with Kalindria's. He had missed kissing someone, the feelings he had when his lips connected with someone else's. He was grateful he had Kalindria there, right there, accepting his affection.
He pulled himself closer, ever so closer, and breathed in through his nose. He sighed contently as he kissed her slightly more harder than he was a moment before. He deepened their kiss further and he loved it.

Kalindria was falling with his every move, her mind whirling in any direction but rational thought as his tongue slipped its way into her mouth to dance a lust filled dance with her own.
What a wakening this had become, what a delight it was to be held by an entity such as Faust, her body began to literally tremble in his hands, her control over her feral beginnings loosing out as he himself began to pick up the pace of his affections, as well, those butterflies that stirred within her midsection seemed to impossibly more agitated, sending a near overwhelming feeling of delight through her body, just from a simple kiss.
Then, he seemed to pull her closer to him, she could feel the heat from his body and it further urged her on, and just as he had, she too deepened their kiss, the hand at his cheek slid backwards and now began to run its digits through the locks of his wonderful long white locks.

Faust sighed as he felt her deepen the kiss. He ran his fingers down her back and set them upon her hip. He broke their kiss and leaned back in the chair, unsure for a moment, wondering if it was the liquor or his emotions acting, wondering if he'd sober up and realize he'd made a mistake.
Yet he was drawn in by her beauty again and he resumed their fun. He vaguely wondered where this was going and how far this was going to get, but it was only at the back of his mind. In his mind was screaming for her, he had to have her, yet doubt still persisted.
He deepened their kiss even further, if that was possible, and he ran his fingers up and down her sides seductivly.
