The moon of Dead Realms lay hidden among jet black clouds as the wind remained stale and arid. Sounds of clogs echoed in a rhythmic tone in the graveyard as the figure walked in small, slow steps. Stopping to a tombstone, the figure kneeled down, pale, slender hands brushing off dry twigs and dead leaves.
"It has been a while." The figure murmurred.
A ray of moon then escaped amongst the thick, heavy clouds, shining to the direction of where the figure knelt. The figure tilted his head back, revealing a woman as she bathed herself under the light of the eerie moon. Her skin glowed a pale yellow, looking bland and dead. Her meticulously prepared kimono spread and covered the dry earth like a tapestry of bloodied flowers, as her hair remained intact in a tight bun held by silver needles.
"Forgive me but I cannot ressurect you. I cannot will myself to do so..." The woman said in a soft whisper.

Not too far away there was a man who was conversing with an aged necromancer. The man was handsome, having waist length white hair and fair features. He wore a black trench coat over black clothes.
There were some exchange of objects between the two and the younge man turned to leave. Before he left a sight caught his eye, a woman paying respect to a grave. It was unusual for a necromancer to be grieving for the dead, seeing as dead bodies and bones were often sources of their magic. Necromancers often didn't show grief for death, they often understanding how life works.
He walked forward through the bone yard's rows upon rows of mass graves to reach her. There were so many mass graves because the bone yard was more or less a storehouse for dead bodies, which would be used eventually for being raised as mindless corpses.
"Excuse me." He said politely. "Why do you mourn." A quick and simple question.

A sudden blockage of the moon's ray did not stir her. The wind blew a long harsh blow and her bloodred kimono swayed as it lifted a little off the ground. Without taking her eyes off the tombstone, she answered, her voice soft and melodic.
"Because I have lost a loved one. Because I cannot raise him."

"I was under the impression that most necromancers wouldn't want to raise their loved ones. Doesn't necromancy raise the dead as mindless, undead creatures?" He replied quickly. "It would be a great disappointment to have you love one's body beside you, yet they have no personality, no soul, no sense of self."
He shrugged. "No spell can revive a singular consiousness, no spell can return a soul to it's body." He placed a hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "Besides, he will probably be happy in death."

"Yes." she replied softly.
The touch of a hand on her shoulder felt like a current that ran throughout her body. How long was it that somebody has touched her?
Shifting her gaze from the lifeless earth, she raised her head only to stare at a pale, fair-haired boy, his face so mesmerizing, yet cold.
"Who are you?" Chiyo asked softly, the last syllables of her words almost ending in a sigh.

He looked down at her and smiled slightly, the corners of his lips turning upward ever so gently. "My name is Lord Faust, I rule this kingdom." He offered her his hand in order to help her to her feet.
"And may I ask your name?" He asked respectfully. He pushed som of his long, white hair out of his grey eyes and waited for a reply.

Her eyebrows slightly creased her solemn face , showing what seemed to be an emotion of surprise.
"So, the lord who rules over this land has graced me with his presence." The woman quietly spoke as she dipped her head in a bow.
"Chiyo." She answered softly, her gaze returning to the dry, barren earth as the wind blew another harsh wind, as her life and love lie six feet under.
"My name is yours to know."
