Sarus has always been a quite and gloomy person, even though he does a good job of hiding it with his everlasting smile. Yet today he wished to relax and watch the day go by, as the common people continue their busy lives. Today he was a different man, his smile was true and he gazed at the beautiful sunset sink into the horizon.
Sarus was sitting on a nearby hill that over looked the town and had a good view of the spire. The birds settled in their nests and the deer returned to their forests, it was bliss.

Rhiannon was on her way to the Druid feilds were she had been told by her mistress she would be welcomed as the Lady of these lands. She glided through the grass silently and watched as the birds slowly pointed the way. She smiled and a stag bent before her. She gave it a gently stroke on the head before mounting and letting it carry her towards her new home.
She had been riding for sometime when the sun began to set and she spied it over the tops of a spirling tower that twisted into the sky. Rhiannon smiled and let her hair loose from its multipul braids that she wore as a priestess into the night winds. This reminded her so much of Avalon and in the breif moment of the sun above the tower she felt homesick for her land and the Tor that crowned it.

Sarus was sitting maybe 20 feet away when he heard a human. Who is that? His eyes were shut tight and his green cloak blew with the wind, as did a few leaves that often fall down in Autumn. His thoughts traveled from his head to his mouth, unnoticed by Sarus who was in a bit of a deep thought. The orange sky got a little darker and the air around him got slightly thicker.

Rhiannon looked up to see a dark flash of green against the orange of the Sunset. She cast her ususal image around herself to make her figure taller and more intimidating as well as more beautiful than any normal creature: something the Lady had taught her long ago. Rhiannon nudged her mount towards the man and a kept her head high and proud. "Sir, I am Rhiannon of Avalon daughter and apprentiance to the Lady of the Lake Priestess in my own right."
