Her feet was dirty, her dress a bit torn. A smile was playing on her lips, but her eyebrows seemed knotted forever in a vain attempt to have a clearer view of her surroundings. She held on to her walking stick, letting it guide her towards an unobstructed path that's leads to anywhere. It didn't matter at all. She was free.
The sky was a dark gray, reflecting her own two orbs that couldn't see well. Isabella tried to look around, the frown reappearing on her face. But she could only make out a few dark browns and greens. She could hear loud conversations from within a structure, and several belly laughs.
I must be near a building, in some sort of town. she guessed, pausing to listen carefully. Then as quick as she was to arrive, Isabella began to walk away unless someone makes a trouble out of her mere presence.

The only sound, was a flap of a cloak in the busy wind of the darkening street though, it was hard to tell as to the direction it came. Before the girl knew what was even going on, a figure stepped out, silhouetted only by the rising of the moon behind her. The emerald eyes that looked at this new woman, this very pretty girl that seemed so unsure of herself, seemed soft, perhaps even welcoming and the smile that lifted the corners of the lips, back by the palest of skin, was genuine, friendly, perhaps even too friendly, but nonetheless, it was a smile.
“Hello.” The strange woman said in a quiet, smooth and calming tone, her long blonde locks swaying about in the gentle caressing of the wind that surrounded both the figures in the beginnings of what proved to become, a stormy night.
“You looked lost, your heart shows that a bit frightened as well, are you looking for comfort?” She then asked, in that same, quiet, smooth and near hypnotic tone.

Her heart skipped a beat when she heard a voice. A female voice, yet Isabella can't help but be cautious. She turned her head to where she thought the sound came from and said in a trembling voice, "Who goes there? What do you want?"
Gripping her rod and assuming a defensive position, she heard the voice continue.
'And how would you know what is in my heart?" she demanded. But the voice was right, she was a little frightened to be in a strange place. She was a little scared to be alone, frightened that her freedom will be suddenly taken away from her again.

“My name is Kalindria, and please, I do not mean you harm, you need not be frightened of me.” she answered, in that same, hypnotic tone, her voice very quiet, very soothing, almost as if talking to a small child, though she knew this woman, was no child, to one as ancient as Kalindria however, nearly everyone on the planet was. “I can hear your heart my dear, it trembles, almost as much as your grip, on your rod.” She finished, in answer to her second question.
It was true, the Vampire Queen meant no harm, she wasn’t in the mood to hunt, or be overly nasty to any just now, she was quite honestly, willing to, and wanting to help this girl.

Isabella loosened her grip on her rod and stood up straight, not realizing that the hypnotic voice was having an effect on her. Such effect that it made her let down her guard.
"Are you a deity? You say you can hear my heart, then are you a goddess?" she asked and tried to peer at the strange woman. She could make out her hair which was a yellow haze among gray clouds.

Kalindria took a few steps closer, her hands situated at her sides, her emerald orbs all the while, watching the girls every move, wondering if she was perhaps blind, or maybe, partially so, she couldn’t be certain, without intruding on the girls mind, something she simply wouldn’t do, as Kalindria considered that quite rude indeed.
“No child, I am not a Goddess, though am about the closest thing to being one, you can ever think to meet, I have my powers of sight, among a great many other things.” She answered, giving the girl a half truth, by not telling who or what she truly was, which was the first ever vampire in creation, the oldest thing this earth has ever whiteness walk amongst it soils, and quite possibly, one of the most powerful beings, though gentle, and loving at times, one seldom angered the Vampire Queen enough to feel her full strength, and never, would she flaunt such power, it simply wasn’t in her nature to do so.

Isabella's heart mourned. "Powers of sight..." she murmured, a bit hurt that she could not have the ability to see clearly.
But her old feeling of contentment with her half-sightedness came back, after all, she was not totally blind.
"You call me a child, and by the sound of your voice I reckon you have the right to do so. You say you are an ancient, powerful being, and I cannot fathom what you mean by saying you are not a goddess and yet close to being one."
"But I will not ask you what you are, it is enough to know that you do not wish to hurt me. My Lady Kalindria, if I may be so bold as to address you in this manner, what then do you want of me? Does the sight of a half blind woman move your heart to pity?"

Kalindria listened to her words, and she could see, this woman truly wanted no pity, this was a good thing, because pity was not what Kalindria handed out, no, not at all.
“Lady Kalindria works fine, and no, I had not known you were half sighted until after I had approached you, I was merely coming over to lend a hand to a new arrival to the realm is all, as it seemed, you might be lost.” She started and then regarded the woman for a few moments more. “It seems, you might be in need of a place to stay, however.” She went on, her voice still continuing on, in that hypnotic fashion she tended to use so often, it was more of a habit, then for any other use. “The building you have just decided to pass, was indeed the correct place for such a need, if only temporary, though I could think of other places not so pleasant one could stay, I think your best bet would be to return to that which you have just shied from.” She finished, her emerald eyes still focused on the woman, watching her every move

The sky was very dark now and the way the wind blows, Isabella felt it would rain soon. Her sight darkened and turning around, she could glimpse light coming from where she stood beside a moment ago.
"You are right, I am lost. In my euphoria of my new found freedom I have not thought of where I would go. My feet led me here and I don't even know what is this place. Where am I?" she asked. "What town is this?"
