Eve didn't bother to respond, instead she kept humming softly as she once more lifted him and brought water to his lips. "You're going to have to sleep soon," she said quietly, rewetting the towel before pressing it to his head. "The body can only take so much internal damage, and repair comes faster from the inside."
Eve considered using her powers and knowledge as a druid to ease the pain. She had the roots available for it and could make the tea, but wouldn't a witches magic be better? Having always heard that druids were just wanna-be witches with no real power, she wasn't sure. "Are you willing to let me try something to ease your pain until we can get a true potion here?"

Faust nodded. "Please, if it would help." He replied. "I trust you with my life, if you think it would help don't hesitate." He wondered what she was going to do but that was quickly shoved out of his mind by another gag and more blood came from his mouth.
"I - I..." He studdered, a small about of blood leaking down the corners of his mouth. He looked just like a vampire with his pale skin, bloody mouth, and dark rings under his eyes. "I... trust you." He said again.

Eve left his side the second he gave permission, grabbing hot water from a container she kept in her room. She took out the appropriate roots as well, putting them all together in a small paper bag. Eve poured the water into a glass, placing the bag in the water so that the roots shriveled, their essense seeping into the water. She was even nice enough to add camomile for flavor.
Once the roots were completely useless, Eve threw the bag away in Faust's blood bucket. Turning to Faust, she took a deep breath. "You're going to have to drink the entire thing at once," she instructed, helping him sit up. "It has something in it to sooth the throat, so after the first sip, the rest should be much easier to drink." She closed his fingers around the glass and assissted him in bringing it to his lips. In the time that small movement took, Eve prayed to the God of the Forest for strength.

Faust took the tea and drank it down. He felt it go down his throat and he sighed. "Thank you." He said, his voice still croaky. "I hope it works, but I'm guessing it won't work exceptionally well. The pain is very great."
He felt the pain receed slightly, something he was greatly thankful for. "Its working." He whispered. "A little of the pain is leaving me." He lay back down, his bone and muscles still hurting, but now slightly less now.
He shut his eyes and waited for the server girl to return.

Eve watched Faust, having taken the glass and cleaned it. As she watched him her humming became a quiet song her mother used to sing to her.
Sleep well, my child, my child, the dreams will come to you. Sleep well, my child, my child, the morning will be bright and true.
Sleep well, my child, my child, the hours will slip by too soon. Sleep well, my child, my child, the sun will take over the moon.
By the time she had finished, there was a knock on the door. Eve went and found the serving girl back incredibly quickly. "Thank you, child," Eve said, taking the potions back to Faust. "The potions are here, My Lord."

Faust nodded. "Great." He said. "I can't read them, could you give me the right ones?" He extended a shaking hand that was obviously going to accidently drop the potion because it was shuddering so badly.
Faust could beleive the voice Eve had. It was amazing to think that someone so deadly could easily pass as a princess in both voice and appearance. He wondered why she was a slayer, why she chose the life to being alone. It was all a enigma to him.

Eve grinned at Faust, possibly the only time she'd ever smile so wide and he couldn't see it. "I think I'll go ahead and help you drink them," she said. Looking at the bottles she found that the girl, bless her heart, had brought three of each potion. Taking the one for fever and the other for pain, Eve carried them to the bed and assisted Faust in holding each as he drank.
When the last of the second potion had disappeared, Eve waited to see if he would want the sleep potion as well, or to just stay with the two.

Both his fever and the pain reduced slightly, just like before with the tea. The pain was still there, but now it was barable to actually function. "Thank you." He said. "Now she had a sleeping potion to didn't she?" He wanted to sleep, he knew that he wouldn't be able to with the still significant pain coursing through him.
He looked at his bodygaurd and nodded. "You have a wonderful singing voice." He said casually. "I could hear it even through the ringing of my ears." A feint smile appeared on his lips. "I'm just stating the fact." He added, knowing she'd protest thinking that it was an attachment.

Eve was halfway through grabbed the sleeping potion when Faust commented on her voice. Whipping around, Eve's eyes narrowed to slits as she looked at him. "If I had known you were well enough to hear me, I wouldn't have sang," she said, voice emotionless. It was like the kindness had seeped from her body in one cool rush. Taking the potion to him, and knowing he was able to hold it himself, Eve passed it to him.
"I'm going to stand watch outside the room, checking on you every thirty minutes." It was over. He was fine. And it was time to get back to work. Without waiting for an answer, Eve went to the hallway, shutting the door behind her. She sank to the floor gracefully, body pressed against the door so none would enter, and softly cursed to herself. "Stupid."

Faust sighed as she left. "I was just saying that you had a nice voice." He said helplessly. "I'm sorry if I overstepped my bounderies." He took his potion and drifted into a deep sleep, though he never forgot that voice.
