Name: Daigin Crethis
Apparent age: 47
Actual Age: 573
Appearence: Daigin has used many different bodies during his lifetime. He currently uses a body which is 5'10" and well built, but not heavy set. He has shoulder length black hair and dull grey eyes. Daigin is always seen to be wearing black leather trousers, jacket and gloves, over these he wears a black cloak.
Personality: Daigin is cold, calculating and distant. He is more like the dead he raises than a human being. He still has feelings, but they are slight and unimportant to him. All that matters is power. He is always deathly calm, almost freighteningly so.
History: Daigin was born in a crude little village some 600 years ago. His mother was killed by a vampire, no one knows if she was turned or not. His father was stricken with grief and soon died, some say of a broken heart. That immediately set Daigin in a negative mindset about emotion and feeling.
He was taken in by an old man much respected in the village, and feared too, for this man was a well practiced necromancer. He tought the trade to Daigin from the tender age of eight, and by ten years old Daigin was raising wraiths and animating corpses.
Eventually, Daigin bid the old man farewell and left to seek more power, as he had learned everything he could from that man.
Daigin travelled extensively, seeking out and apprenticing himself to every necromancer he could find. By the age of 27 he was able to summon and control the greater dead, but still he wanted more power.
Daigin crossed over the boundary between life and death, seeking more power from the necromancers who had once lived, and now where confined in death. He tricked them into teaching him in exchange for life, but after he had finished with them he cast them further into the darkness, binding them where they could never escape.
Eventually, Daigin grew old, and began to die. He knew what death was like, and did not want it to come to him. In desperation, he cast a man's soul from his body and transplanted himself into the empty shell.
The old body that once housed daigin was now a home for the soul who's body he had just taken, and he died days later.
Now Daigin was youthful once more, but his eyes remained old, dead and grey - the telltale sign of his true self.
Daigin took ultimate power, and was now unrivalled in death or life and proclaimed himself to be the king of the necromancers. Demanding that all bow down to him in submission and service.
Likes: The company of the dead, necromancy, cold
Dislikes: Heat, most of the living, holy magic
Other: Daigin carries a bespelled, black bladed scimitar, that will rend and destroy the soul and body of those it touches, and thus can easily be used to deal with the dead and living alike.
