“Yes Milady, I apologize, it shall be as you have directed, I will keep my mouth shut on the matter from here in…” The young vampire spoke, his words coming in gasps of pain filled breath as he rose from the floor, Kalindria standing over him, blood, evidently his blood, staining her hands and trickling down the corners of her lips, her eyes iridescent in anger, but softening slightly at his final show of reverence to her decision.
“Good then Go, the hunt is still young, and I will hear no further disputes as to who I am with… do not think I don’t hear it all, every one of you speaks so loudly, it gives me a headache just to look at you, get out of my sight.” She growled and then turned to look about the throng of watchers. “What are you doing here still, get out there, feed, have a fun night!” she yelled at the ones remaining.
It was in a matter of seconds, the entire manner was left barren, safe for the Vampire Queen herself, and she had no intentions of going out this night so resigned to simply sit on the nearest couch and sigh heavily to herself

Faust walked in, his head turned back to see fleeing vampires tearing down the hall behind him. He had just heard the last few words of Kalindria's speech before opening the doors, only to be met with many white, frightened faces.
He walked swiftly, his large boots hitting the ground, each time a soft thud issued. His white hair and black coat gently floated behind him, his long locks moving to and fro with his movements.
"Hello." He said to her. "What was that all about?" He pulled a silk hankercheif from his coat and offered it to his lover, his eyes lingering on the crimson stains around her mouth and on her fingertips. He waited patiently for her to accept the cloth and reply.

Kalindria reached out and took the cloth in her fingers and then after cleaning her mouth, she looked up at Faust, her eyes still iridescent, something she couldn’t hide but she smiled nonetheless, happy to see him.
“Good evening my love.” She responded, before answering his question. “Oh, a little misunderstanding, it has been…… taken care of though, for the time being.” She replied, patting the seat next to her and continuing to smile at his arrival. “Have a seat, and tell me, what brings you to my realm this late in the evening? Though, I would have you come and visit me any time, at any part of the day or night.” She asked and then regarded him a moment. “I miss you…” She said then, her voice quieter perhaps than was good.

"I miss you too." He whispered. "Every moment I am away from you I miss you." He sat down beside her and wrapped his finger's around her's. He looked into her eyes, those iridescent eyes.
"That was why I had come." Faust murmured. "I haven't seen you for such a long time, you haven't come to my castle, so I came here." He ran his digets through her soft flaxen locks and sighed contently.
"But you sound so sad, distressed." He commented, noting the tone and volume of her beautiful voice. Her voice always comforted him, always brought him such joy, but to hear it like it was now pained him. "My love?" He asked after a few moments.

Kalindria ‘s head turned into his hand as it began to run its digits through her long hair and she nuzzled the palm of his hand with her cheek, closing her eyes briefly, only to straighten her head once again and gaze back at him again.
She knew she didn’t hide her sorrow from him, she hadn’t even tried. She could see and feel how it pained him to hear her heart breaking and knew also, he felt it, deeply. Kalindria sighed, a sound that was like a dove letting out its last breath in the hands of a child.
“I don’t just miss you my love, I need you, with each passing day, not at your side, a part of me seems to die, my children feel it now, they quarrel amongst themselves, they try so hard to stand against my feelings, feelings I can no longer mask against them, to protect their passionate souls, they know my pain, they feel it as I do and they have begun to blame you for my pain, their pain…” She replied, as a crystal tear began top fall down her cheek, a tiny diamond tumbling over a smooth pale background, only to fall and shatter like the broken heart it stood for, from her chin onto her chest. “I have not been able to leave my home to come visit you, not with out knowing I would return to chaos here in my home…” She finished, raising a hand up to touch his cheek, before allowing that hand to fall back to her lap again.

Faust looked down and sighed. "I'm sorry my love." He apologized. He felt her sorrow and he himself nearly cried. She loved him so much, as did he, but he himself did not know what to do, what to say to make it better. Kalindria was needed in the vampire realms, Faust needed to stay in his castle, looking over his lands.
He felt himself lean forward to kiss Kalindria, yet he stopped, unsure. He pulled back to his original position and continued stroking her hair, running the back of his other hand along her cheek. He felt like kissing her would even make things worse, make her want to stay with him more.
"Kalindria, do you have any solutions? Suggestions?" He asked quietly, lovingly.

Kalindria felt his hesitation and when he leaned forward, only to return to his righted position, she could feel her heart snap another piece, falling from what was left of a torn and breaking pain.
“I have no words Faust, I have no suggestions or answers, I only know that I love you more than the world, more than my own existence… I only know that I want to be with you, need to be with you…” She paused each time she said something, as if to steady herself so she could speak.
“Do not fear to touch me my love..” She said then, looking down at her hands on her lap, and then returning her gaze to his. “Your touch, your lips could never harm me, only take away the pain I feel, even if only for a fleeting moment.” She finished, her eyes holding steady to his, her tone still just as quiet, just as soft, just as tragic as ever.

"But that isn't what I want." He whispered in reply. "I want to make it so the pain is gone forever." He leaned forward. "I love you more than the flower loves the sun, the sun giving the flower life. You are my sun." He set his lips to her, this time with no hesitation, a tear falling from his eye.
He broke from her gently. "Never think any different." He paused. His stomach contracting, one hand fell inside his coat, figetting with a small object within the black fabric. He was so unsure, so nervous, but those feelings were nothing compared to the fear, the fear of hurting her more.
He knew she had to stay with her people, never with him, never in his bed every night. His fingers fumbled with the small object even more nervously.

Kalindria smiled at his words and then when he kissed her, she reacted instantly returning his kiss gently pressing her lips to his. Then, he backed away again. She could tell he was nervous about something, and as his hand slid in his cloak, and he began to fidget with something, she tilted her head to the side, the look in her eyes curious, to say the least.
“What is it Faust?” She asked, her voice holding great curiousness in it, still just as soft, just as sad, but questioning all the same.
She wasn’t sure she like that fact that he seemed to be so nervous all of a sudden, or had he been the entire time, and she had just not noticed? She began to feel nervous too, though she didn’t know why.

"Kalindria..." He mumbled. "I truely love you, I want to make you happy... I want to stay with you forever, but..."
He paused and sighed. "I'm just not sure, I- I'm just not sure." He put his face in his hands and sighed again. "I'm so sorry Kalindria."
He shook his head, still in his hands. He looked so unsure, so conflicted. "Kalindria, should you always follow your heart?" He asked, almost childishly.

Kalindria watched him, listened to his words and without realizing it, she gasped slightly.
“What are you saying….” She couldn’t understand. “Sorry for what?” She asked, her breath all but completely stopping in her chest, her hands beginning to shake, as she tried to hold back the tears wanting to come from her eyes, the burning there nearly blinding her. “Don’t say sorry to me Faust, if there is something you want to say then say it, I love you, and always will, I need you, you are my life, my reason for waking, my entire reason to go on each day… if there is something I need to know, tell me now damn it.” She responded, the tears escaping form her eyes.
“Yes, you should follow your heart, if you don’t, it will become darkened, and shut down, you will enter a place known as numbness, and void of all feeling, now tell me Faust, what is it?” She nearly begged him, she couldn’t deal with seeing him like this

Faust got up from his seat and stood there in front of Kalindria. That moment for him seemed to last forever, her tears running down her face, his hand inside his coat, his sweat on his brow. He would follow his heart, even if it meant she would say 'no'.
He fell to a knee and took her hands in his own. He pulled out a beautiful diamond ring, gold and silver glinted in the soft light. "Will you do me the honor of being my queen?"
He waited for what felt like an eternaty. His stomach was cramping so badly, his jaw was clench in fear, his eyes reflecting every emotion he held right now

Kalindria’s heart did stop, her breath caught in her chest and all motion seemed to be suspended for a few moments as she took in what it was he was doing, and this was all before he managed to come out with the question.
After he had asked, she seemed to be able to take in a breath, her eyes moved to the ring in his hand, and then to his chin, his lips, and finally, his eyes, hers still continuing to rain down the tears of before, though, a light shown behind the wetness and her lips even turned up into a smile.
“I -- I, yes.” She managed, the usually eloquently spoken vampiress had nothing more she could say, she was speechless, what she thought was coming was the total opposite form what had come, and most delightfully so. Now, she threw her arms about his neck and pressed her lips to his like never before, and only after a few moments did she let him breath. “I love you.”

"And I love you." He murmured. He placed the ring on her finger and smiled, his eyes brimming with tears now. He kissed her back, feeling closer to her than ever before. He held her there, in that singular moment, the moment of pure happiness.
"I want you to be by my side forever." He whispered. "I can't imagine myself being with anybody else other than you."
He nuzzled her neck, her cheek. He would look forward to every moment from now on. "I love you so much." He whispered again.

“And I you Faust..” She started, and then smiled as he slipped the ring onto her finger, her hand shaking the entire time. “I…” Once again, she was at a loss for words, and when he nuzzled her, she closed her eyes for a moment and drew in a long breath, letting it out slowly. “Always, I will follow you where ever you go, I will be right at your side, my Lord, my love, my Faust.” She said, then kissed his cheek, letting her lips linger over his flesh for a few moments, before she moved and caught his lips with hers again.
